The assault on Vimy Ridge began on Easter Monday, April 9, 1917. Four days later, the ridge belonged to Canada. It still does. Of the roughly 100,000 Canadians who served at Vimy, more than 10,600 were casualties, including almost 3,600 who lost their lives. Lest we forget. 🇨🇦🙏
