Had two verbal offers for TT positions in US universities in early March (did one virtual second visit). They did not survive COVID-19. Time for a career change?

To be fair, chairs are fighting for candidates, but their hands are tied. I remain hopeful because of them and all the people that are encouraging me to stay the course.
