WEAVE PFC optical design review has just started at OCA (Nice).

Tibor is now presenting WEAVE-PRI-005; the preliminary design.

Stray light and ghosting discussed.

Design looks solid and complete.Implementation of recommendations received from the panel will be very beneficial prior to procuring blanks.

Panel very content with FEA carried out by OCA. For completeness results need to be fed back into Zemax.

OK, the panel has retired to discuss. We’re now waiting for our exam results.
