Last Saturday Irish Railway Record Society organised a day trip to WSV Railway in Waterford to travel over the full length of their railway to Bilberry. We travelled to/from Dublin by @irishrail and transfer to the WSVR at Kilmeaden was by @buseireann Click buff.ly/2jIOS71 to view.

It was my 3rd time using the new TFI Local Link Kerry Transport for Ireland Anseo service in #Killarney. What a wonderful service to have. Front door to Railway Station in under 10 minutes for €2. Then hopped on Iarnród Éireann to take me home to #Tipperary. It's a great addition to #Killarney.

While out for a Sunday drive I finally visited the long closed railway station at Fermoy in Co. Cork. While the station building is intact, most of the railway alignment through the town is now roads. Click buff.ly/XZ4eMah to view.

I am looking forward to visiting London in December to pay my farewell to the Class 455's, which I credit for my interest in railways. They have served SW London well for the past 40+ years. The new 701's have big shoes to fill. This badge will be worn on the day.
