Today a United Nations vehicle was struck in Gaza, killing one of our colleagues & injuring another. More than 190 UN staff have been killed in Gaza. Humanitarian workers must be protected. I condemn all attacks on UN personnel and reiterate my urgent appeal for an immediate humanitarian

I reiterate my appeal for an immediate humanitarian ceasefire in Gaza and for the release of all hostages. I call for the Rafah crossing to be re-opened immediately and for the unimpeded humanitarian access throughout Gaza.

Sexual and gender-based violence has reached alarming levels in #Haiti. Humanitarians are assisting survivors by providing psychosocial support and medical care. However, only 7% of the funding required for this response has been received. We urgently need more resources.
