#CCEDUletter2019 Again during the 2016 elections ccedu observed that in some places money as low as sh500 was used to sway voters. Should we really be spending the talking about money in elections anyway?I am Unstoppable

Faridah Lule تذاكر ||تكت ماستر ✪ Duncan Abigaba We have one option to fight and have a transition government that will work on reforms and then free and Fair elections but yo think that this regime will give you reforms when they're want rigging gaps is a dream #CceduLetter2019

I am Unstoppable تذاكر ||تكت ماستر ✪ The point is to have a level political playing field where all who participate in the country's politics/elections feel they are accorded fair play.

#CCEDULetter2019 In your view how can we get rid of the ghosts on the national voter's register?Duncan Abigaba

Duncan Abigaba Charity Kalebbo تذاكر ||تكت ماستر ✪ I am Unstoppable Lydiah Namayengo Starting point is to regulate expenditure and accountability of spending by political candidates. But also restrict campaign spend. Daily Monitor The New Vision NBS Television Nile Post

#CceduLetter2019 Public funds are stolen to finance campaigns&political victors loot funds to maintain influence over electorate, is it the failure of laws to capture culprits or political will to do so? Crispin Kaheru I am Unstoppable Democratic Party Ofwono Opondo P'Odel Voice Uganda FHRI

تذاكر ||تكت ماستر ✪ shouldn't ask that from The Electoral Commission - Uganda because they also give them information and they can't change it this information is From NIRA a military led organization #CceduLetter2019

I am Unstoppable Charity Kalebbo CCG Actually, the bigger vision should be to make elections as cost-effective as possible, and as accessible and as inclusive as possible. The cost of election administration should be kept low, and campaign spending should be kept to basic minimums... Shawn Mubiru Apollo Mubiru

#cceduletter2019 In your view what is the government playing hide and seek with electoral reforms? Duncan Abigaba

Charity Kalebbo Duncan Abigaba Each citizen has a moral and civic obligation to summon their MP to support laws that strengthen rather than impede democracy. A law regulating the monstrous campaign expenditure is one of those progressive pieces of legislation and should be supported - in form and substance.

Faridah Lule I am Unstoppable تذاكر ||تكت ماستر ✪ Not that Government isn't prioritizing electoral reforms. However, the processes and systems must be followed. For example, the Minister for Justice can only table reforms after consulting cabinet. He promised to deliver by April & we should be optimistic #CCEDULetter2019

But Duncan Abigaba tell us why the laws on #Agelimit didn't follow all that process but electoral reforms can't be included it's just no respect for The people of Uganda #CceduLetter2019 تذاكر ||تكت ماستر ✪

Faridah Lule تذاكر ||تكت ماستر ✪ I am Unstoppable Duncan Abigaba Going for the 2021 general elections without electoral reforms is like taking an evening walk through the Lion's Den & expecting to come back home for dinner! Charity Kalebbo Yes. When MPs use their money to win electoral seats, they shy away from accounting to their constituencies - "because they bought their way into the House" and the "transaction" was completed back then.

I am Unstoppable And that's why we are saying, the Executive ought to treat this matter as urgently as possible ahead of the next election....
