One week out for the 2024 Robotics Season!!!

Robotics 2024 kickoff is tomorrow! Smoking up some pork butts for the Kickoff Luncheon!!!

As we rapidly approach our 2025 kickoff, it's time to say goodbye to 2024 with the disassembly of last year's robot, Frank. His chassis will live on though, as the basis for future robots!

Reefscape is here and we are eager to dive in! The team spent today digging into the game manual and analyzing how the game is played. Build season starts now!

It begins. The team is taking the time to fully understand Reefscape and decide how to move forward with our robot. Prototyping begins soon!

Prototyping has begun. New team members are learning the fundamentals of build season by building the kit-bot.

It's the end of week one! As our design comes together, our team was also busy with building the kit-bot and constructing a cage mock-up to help with prototyping.

Week 2 is underway, and our new team members have completed the kit-bot build. Our CAD team is also busy with our robot design, while programming is working on April Tags and other goals. We are on track!

It's the end of Week 2, and we have a working kit-bot! We have also built a prototype of our Coral Manipulator. In other news, we will be receiving a brand new CNC machine within the next few weeks, allowing us to fabricate custom parts on-site.

Week 3 has come and gone. We are making swift progress with our robot, testing and finalizing our designs. The programmers were busy with April Tags. Other team members were busy constructing a table for our new CNC machine, which will be arriving early next week!

Our first deep-cage climb!

Our brand new CNC machine has finally arrived! It will allow us to quickly prototype and create custom components, drastically speeding up our build. We have also been finishing up our major mechanisms. Just waiting for our new metal to arrive, and we'll be starting final build!

It's the final countdown. We've been very busy finishing our robot. We've faced some unfortunate setbacks with snowdays, but we are almost there!

Say hello to our 2025 bot! Featuring a swerve drive, 3-stage lift, flipping coral/algae mech, and a ground algae intake, we have finally made it to our first competition. It was a long and difficult season, but we are glad to finally compete.

We had a good time at the FIM Ferndale event! It was a great experience for the team. We are busy on a upgrades for the Week 3 Belleville Event; looking to bring our robot to the next level!

We had a fantastic time at the FIM Belleville Event! We placed 11th out of 40, much improved from Ferndale. We were captain of Alliance 8, and won the Creativity Award for our unique algae/coral mechanism!
