I think we respond by building different kinds of coalitions. An ear to the ground approach that well-managed campaigns don't always have. Economic anxiety is real. But we could be organizing for 4 years and try to counter their darkness with our light.

I just keep thinking- how we failed young women everywhere. Even the ones who voted for him. He’s a rapist. His VP is a sicko who believes women are only made for child bearing & people without children aren’t valuable. Girls and women don’t deserve this. So many will suffer.

Ideas for preparing for the aftermath and what’s to come after they are inaugurated… I’ve had many similar thoughts, helpful to know I’m not the only one.

We know now that what they're coming after is not one form of thinking. It's not Black history, it's not intersectionality, it's not critical race theory. They're coming after the entire infrastructure that has been created from the civil rights movement.

If this operation is so legit, why can’t those involved get a proper security clearance? Offer transparency to the American people? This is a plutocratic coup. If you want the power, run for office and be chosen by the people. Short of that, this is an exercise in vigilantism.
