Today I participated in the Great Utah ShakeOut. We all must get better prepared for major earthquakes and practice how to protect ourselves when they happen. The purpose of the ShakeOut is to help us do both!

Drop, take cover, and hold on! Hill AFB is taking part in the Great Utah ShakeOut today that kicked of at 10:15 a.m. Sirens over the base's "Giant Voice" PA system and associated emergency response vehicle movement is part of this earthquake prep drill. go.usa.gov/xukaJ
