🇺🇸 Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth is in 🇸🇬 to attend the 22nd SLD. Minister for Defence Mr Chan Chun Sing met with Secretary Hegseth this morning. During the meeting, Mr Chan and Secretary Hegseth reaffirmed the excellent and longstanding bilateral defence relationship.

Met with United States Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth at the Istana, as part of his introductory visit to Singapore. We exchanged views on geopolitical developments and regional security issues and reiterated our shared commitment to stability and prosperity in the region.

Met the United States Joint Chiefs of Staff General Dan Caine at the Istana, as part of his introductory visit to Singapore. Our defence relationship is strong, with many areas of cooperation.
