We've sent IMETs to 5 states for prescribed burns & other missions, including NWS Grand Junction IMET Scott Stearns who is seen here supporting the San Juan NF near Durango, CO during prescribed burns earlier this month. IMETs have been on wildfire missions in NC, GA, & FL this year. 2/2

Although the technology changes, the mission remains the same. Since 1928 we’ve had over 330 Incident Meteorologists, been on over 4,000 missions, and supported over 3,000 incidents! 3/3
