Wake Up Dead Man is the best looking of the Knives Outs and the way the sunlight changes during interior scenes felt revolutionary. Like yeah sometimes the sun does move when you’ve been in the same room for 20 minutes or so

and the way this one shot says all of that too

jonathan in the back trying very hard to ignore them is so funny. when your friend (dustin) brings you to his house and then his mom (steve) comes out and starts yelling at him and you just have to pretend like you're not there.

knives out: nothing beats the tone of the first movie and i frankly adore that cast wake up dead man: i love that it is just as dark as the first movie and has the same autumn vibes glass onion: the whole crime is very complicated and it's so cool, but i think it was less serious
