One day, when it's safe, when there's no personal downside to calling a thing what it is, when it's too late to hold anyone accountable, everyone will have always been against this.

We will never be the same. We will never forget this. I will never ever ever ever forget the people who ignored this. I will never be the same.

I’ve heard a lot of dumb things in my life, and “I came for a climate demonstration not a political view” is pretty up there. 1) you’re at a protest, the most political thing you can do. 2) climate change is the opposite of apolitical. 3) you’re an idiot.

🗣️New Blog🗣️ Carbon removal *could* play many different roles in addressing climate change — but where will it be most impactful? Rather than a distraction from decarbonization, carbon removal could actually help accelerate us on the path to net zero. bit.ly/47q6wFX

We'll be announcing our second cohort of EJ regrantees in a couple weeks. 👀 Two years ago, we got to start our work with Young, Gifted & Green™, Appalachian Voices , and Air Alliance Houston. This year, we've prioritized regions that could host DAC and CDR projects.

BREAKING: This brilliant speech yesterday by a Columbia professor on the cowardice of the university administration in calling in police to arrest students will be cited throughout history -– and will inspire generations of students for decades to come. Columbia still on

We penned a piece on the community benefits plan summary that was published following the recent Project Cypress announcement by U.S. Department of Energy Spoiler: there wasn’t a ton to comment on, which is our biggest takeaway

Yesterday, I got to see the unveiling of Climeworks Mammoth facility, the largest operating DAC plant in the world at 36K tons a year. A few thoughts!

There is no other way to say this: the (lack of) reaction to the scenes of sheer carnage, burned refugee bodies, and decapitated babies coming out of Rafah tonight from the U.S. political and media establishments is nothing other than the normalizing, the banalizing, of genocide.

Shame on them. Shame on every member of Congress, every journalist & pundit, every activist, who has ever claimed to stand for human rights or freedom or the rule of law & who is now staying silent because they support this - or worse, they oppose it but are too scared to say so.

I am trying to pull on anger but I am grief stricken. My stomach turns when I try to speak. How do I explain that burning children alive in tents is bad? Who does not know that? What is this system we’ve built that has normalized advanced tech barbarism & dares to lecture us?

In the Somali language, ‘hooyo’ shares a root word for mom and home. This is exactly why. She is doing her best for those sweet babies 😥
