Today, at the Annual General Meeting of The Landing, students voted 28-1-1 in favour of integrating The Landing into the Student Services Unit at the UASU.

At the Students’ Council meeting on November 13th, councillors will vote again on the proposal to integrate The Landing into the SU. #uasu

I am fully in support of establishing The Landing as an SU Service. The UASU has room to grow in the field of equity, diversity, and inclusion. Bringing The Landing to the table will secure additional opportunities for queer and non-binary individuals to have their voices heard.

Moving forward, I will ensure that all students have an opportunity to learn about what the integration of The Landing would mean for student life. Later this week, I will release a comprehensive report of what the changes would entail #UASU
