It’s time to look forward — to move on from the stale old political fights and to find common sense, practical solutions that improve the lives of British people. Secure borders. Cheaper bills. More jobs. We will close a deal in the national interest.

Gaza’s population is at severe risk of starvation & food agencies have run out of supplies. Israel must immediately allow aid to Gaza to resume in full. The UN & other agencies are trusted partners and must be able to work to save lives and reduce suffering.

Horrified by the killing of two Israeli Embassy staff in DC. We condemn this appalling, antisemitic crime. Our thoughts are with the victims, their families and colleagues at this awful time.

On this day, exactly a year ago, the Conservatives called a snap election. Why? They knew the prisons were on the point of collapse. But they chose to dodge the blame. Voters saw through their deception. They lost. Now we're cleaning up their mess.

We need more open air pools on our coast. I’d love to see the Worthing Lido come back as a pool for everyone in the town to use, and to draw people from across the country to visit.

Brill to have such a fab team out speaking to residents in Buckingham in Shoreham today, campaigning for our wonderful candidate & my friend Kate Davis. If you can help with the campaign, do let us know. All hands on deck to keep delivering a fairer, greener Adur with Labour.

A beautiful day to be out leafleting for Buckingham by-election Labour candidate Kate Davis. I have no doubt that Kate will make an excellent councillor and public servant for the residents of Buckingham Ward and build on Nigel's work locally. #votelabour

The Israeli government’s approval of 22 new settlements in the occupied West Bank is a deliberate obstacle to Palestinian statehood. The UK condemns these actions. Settlements are illegal under international law, further imperil the two state solution, and do not protect Israel.

Heartbreaking: “Voluntary Stopping Eating & Drinking is not an easy death but with the current law in England this is the only way I can have control over my death.”💔 This country’s law allows self starvation but not the choice of assisted dying. mirror.co.uk/news/health/mu…
