In this day and age is it really necessary for the Caps Lock key to be in such a prominent place on the keyboard? How much time has been wasted because you hit that instead of Shift? Can't we move it over to the Pageup/PageDown buttons? Who still uses it?

When Google puts 4 paid ads ahead of the first organic result for your own brand name, you’re forced to pay up if you want to be found. It’s a shakedown. It’s ransom. But at least we can have fun with it. Search for Basecamp and you may see this attached ad.

Today, my dad cried over the phone, he wanted one week where he could use his computer without my help. He's blind. Each inaccessible webpage tells him, "you aren't welcome in this world." If you don't know whether your website or app is accessible: it's not. Start learning.

The Daily Mail UX is really something. 5 display ads and one autoplay video -- and only part of the headline. Well done, everyone.

Sometimes an industry is so broken that the only way out is to jump right in. So, I'm delighted to now announce the Useful Books publishing imprint: writeusefulbooks.com/imprint/ And huge congrats to our first authors, Adam & Bob, on hitting #1 New Release: geni.us/coffeechats

5 categories of health-tool seekers: 1) Show me the data, in humans. 2) Show me the data, mice suffice. 3) Just tell me what you do/take. 4) Just tell me what to do/take. 5) Tell me what I already take is safe. Which category describes you?

It is funny how leaders who do not take the time to write down their strategy end up spending so much time in “strategy offsites”, every quarter.
