(1/n) Som Shekhar Sharma, George K Kurian & colleagues built a magnetometry set-up that can detect very small magnetic fields. How small? This instrument, which uses commercial sensors, can detect fields with intensities comparable to one-millionth of the Earth's magnetic field.
