Are things falling apart or are they coming together?

Litigators can become transactional attorneys. Transactional attorneys can become litigators. Family law attorneys can become M&A attorneys. M&A attorneys can become Family law attorneys. You're not stuck in that role. Learn what you can from what you're doing and keep moving.

Just keep learning and growing as a practitioner. I know it seems like those skills may not be transferable, but trust me a lot of what we do is. Take those skills and network with the people in that practice/field/area of law. Some won't give you a shot. But others will.

Last thing, you also don't have to be "stuck" as an attorney. You can take that degree, experience, and skills and do a lot of other things. It ends up opening a lot of doors you wouldn't think would open.
