We talk a lot about Ts building relationships with Ss but not principals building relationships with Ts. Ts are expected to leave their baggage at the door and just teach. That’s like telling an ACE student to just learn. Ts pls disclose to Principals how you are doing. We care!

The best teachers know their students, but they also know their stuff. It's not an either/or it is both.
