NEW RECOVERY: the original studio master tape for the score of Terror in New York City, including abandoned music written for the episode which was dropped when the ending was rewritten — unheard in 60 years. Find out more tonight at 8pm.

Having made a safety copy when I got the tape, last week I took the newly recovered Terror in New York City master tape to Mark Ayres who has done a new transfer (with a new restoration to follow). Phenomenal to hear it even at this stage.

We rather reluctantly ask for public help like this, but we’ve now got so much material to go through it is for the benefit of getting the job done well which is paramount. So we’ve set up a Go Fund Me — link in the replies. Any assistance hugely appreciated.
