Fantastic news: Plastic straws, cutlery and lightweight bags to be banned next year, with cups, plates and reusable bags soon after. This will help curb the amount of trash going into landfill and the ocean, which will see more plastic than fish unless we make serious changes.

In 2008, we set a target to achieve a 70% reduction in the City's greenhouse gas emissions by 2030. We’re nine years away from 2030, and we have already exceeded that target, reducing emissions by 76%. We're not stopping.
