DISCIPLINE isn't punishment. It's a choice. • A choice to be consistent. • A choice to put in the work. • A choice to demand more from yourself. WIN THE DAY!

Importance of NOTHING. You're entitled to NOTHING. Nobody owes you NOTHING. You can have talent, but you if don't have discipline-and execute-what do you get? NOTHING. NOTHING is acceptable, but your best. Everything is determined by what you do-there should be NOTHING else

You don’t chase greatness—you demand it from yourself. You want to be elite? Then do what’s right- the right way - every time. Not when it’s easy. Not when you feel like it. Every time. Discipline builds habits. Habits build champions.

This is an embarrassment is it plays out this way. The rationale provided in the document is nonsense flowrestling.org/articles/14185…

Everyone talks about “hitting it hard” in the summer. Let’s say your team trains 3days/week for 8 weeks. 24 total sessions. If you miss: 1 time= 4.1% (95.8%) 2 times= 8.3% (91.6%) 3 times= 12.5% (87.5%) 6 times= 25% (75%) 9 times= 37.5% (62.5%) How committed are you?

If you want to miss workouts, do it. If you want to sleep in, do it. If you want to chill, do it. If you want to skip reps, do it. If you want to make excuses, do it. If you want to be soft, do it. Just please don’t act surprised & confused when your competition kicks your tail!

Ask your team this today: “Who do you want in your foxhole?” Then challenge them to be that person: Accountable. Reliable. Composed. That’s how real teams are built.

MYTH: “I can't afford going to a D3 school b/c they don’t have athletic scholarships” REALITY: ~80% of D3 Athletes receive some form of academic grant or need-based scholarship Before you rule out D3’s, do your research & make an informed decision (Stat per NCAA Division III)

4 things to ask yourself at the end of each practice: 1. Was I better today, than I was yesterday? 2. Did I empower others? 3. Did I make my team better? 4. If today was my last practice before those stadium lights start to buzz, would I be ready for that first play?!

If the NCAA is going to make us compete with all divisions the next two years for women's wrestling then we at the D3 level should be allowed to follow the sames rules as Division II both in and out of season.  This would allow our SA's to be on a level playing field.
