So sad to learn (a month late) that Richard Mayhew has passed. I fell in love with his landscapes years ago, when I saw several of his paintings at SF MOMA. His work has been a touchpoint in my own writing practice, and I will miss his so much. nytimes.com/2024/10/04/art…
