Saddened to know that #MH17 crashed in #Ukraine near the Russia border. Thoughts & prayers are with the crew, passengers & their families.

The only protection available when a person is facing criminal charge is the principle of presumption of innocence yet POTA destroys it.

POTA legalizes any illegal means in extracting evidence from the detainees. Thus it gives any inquiry officer a licence to torture.

BN's addiction to a law allowing detention without trial is unabated. It banned ISA yet reinvented POCA n POTA -the twin brothers of ISA !
