Fasting this Ramadan should feel a little different. Our brothers and sisters in Gaza are starving, their basic human rights are denied. When will this end? Oh Allah grant them victory!
EFFECTIVE RAMADAN ROUTINE
1.Sleep Daily by 10pm.
2.Wake up 3am.
3. Tahajjud 3:30am till 4:15am
4. Study Quran for 20mins, at least 10verses with meaning. 4:15am - 4:35am.observe your Dua for 10mins, ask all your desires from Allah 4:35-4:4
If Allah didn't love you, He would never have let you fast the days of Ramadan and stand its nights. He only gifted you this because He wanted to forgive you.
Best thing I've read today..Everybody has their sins, maybe yours isn't haram relationships, or clubbing or not wearing Hijab. Maybe it's you thinking you're better than them. Arrogance. Just like Iblees.
Fasting Should Help Us To:
- Attain taqwa (piety)
- Develop control over our nafs
- Increase our iman in Allah
- Increase our sabr
- Develop ikhlas (sincerity)
- Increase our shukr to Allah
- Increase our empathy for the poor
- Increase zuhd (detachment from the world)
-
Mistakes to avoid during Ramadan:
1. Getting angry
2. Sleeping all day
3. Fasting without prayer
4. Curse words or swearing
5. Spending extravagantly on food, buying too much, over-eating and wasting.
6. skipping suhoor
SubhanAllah, today I learned that fasting is not recorded by Angels because Allah will reward us for our fasts on the day of judgement.Meaning our hunger is so valuable that He hid the reward even from the angels & also the deed is so special that He wants to reward us personally
