We’d like to recognize our three (one for each of the levels of theatre offered First Ave Spartans) Students of the Month for August 2024. These students stood out, amidst a sea of wonderfully engaged students at FA, for having a “company” attitude, and creating amazing work in class.

What’s that they say: when one show closes another one opens? Tonight, my The Electric Company Theatre show MUCH ADO closes after a wonderfully fun run. Next week, my First Avenue Theatre Company show THE OLD MAN AND THE OLD MOON opens! Proud to work with such wonderful artists!

Proud of these students and of this work! I love my job at Arcadia Unified and the fact that I get to tell stories like this with young artists who are so willing to rise to the challenge is so inspiring! I’ll be sad to see this one go.
