So very sad to hear Sir Andrew Davis has died. He was a very special conductor and a joy to work with - an opinion I know I share with all my BBC Singers colleagues. My generation grew up with him conducting the Last night of BBC Proms. Here’s the year he sang the speech. Hero.

Totally heartbroken to hear of the death of Andrew Davis. So many memories of performances all over the world, recording sessions & numerous hilarious meals. Irreplaceable musician whom I will miss always. Rest in Peace, Maestro. (Thank you Chris Christodoulou for this pic)

At Holy Trinity Church in Stratford upon Avon and have just taken flowers to Shakespeare’s grave - what a fabulous procession! Now off for a coffee, and then I’m invited to a nice lunch. Cheers, everybody!
