Teachers, Remember building relationships is important but it’s a means to an end. When students talk about a teacher they liked, it often means you valued & respected them, helped them develop their talents and work toward their potential.

So proud of the growth my students have been making...today we celebrated! 🎉

February can be a long month... and you have some colleagues who are barely hanging on. They’re just trying to keep their head above water. But you may not know which ones… so I recommend being gracious with all of them. And your students too.

Effective teachers never give up on students because they know each one has significance and value, even if the student doesn’t realize it yet.

Let’s never judge each other based on how we taught or currently teach. We all have our own talents, passions and skills to connect w/ students. You can walk in 5 different classrooms & see 5 different teachers being amazing for 5 different reasons! That’s teaching!
