Women make up the vast majority of underpaid/unpaid workers in the home and at the work place Syme Woolner we celebrate #IWD2023 as we join in the struggle for unrecognized, and underpaid work-- walking the long road to economic equity.

My friends, The COVID-19 Resources Canada Tuesday evening data session tonight is HAPPENING.... I'll discuss changes in our model and outputs, the Canadian COVID Forecast validation against excess mortality....unless Stef @[email protected] Christensen has something urgent to cover. covid19resources.ca/discussions/

Join us, Wanasah.ca, and @tngcommunityto for 10 weeks of healing starting April 15! 📧[email protected] to register today. Through art, journaling, dialogue, and movement young women will restoratively learn and share about healing justice topics. #Sister2Sister

The crisis of affording-basic human needs-food and housing - is witnessed at the door steps of small agencies like Syme Woolner, The Stop Community Food Centre providing food-bank support and meal supports. Questions: 1.For how long 2. Are we aiding and abetting wilful government negligence?

Our research assistants had the opportunity to visit and learn more about Syme Woolner's facilities!! It was a great experience for our research assistants, and we appreciate their hospitality towards our #SenecaResearch team 🤗 Learn more: senecacollege.ca/innovation/res…

Syme Woolner is very excited to be working with this awesome #SenecaResearch team to build our data strategy, co-creating our very own database to capture the tremendous work of our front line staff. Data becomes information the key to unlock our stories and make meaning.

Syme Woolner is saying farewell to Sharmini Fernando, who will be leaving us on the 28th of April. Thank you Sharmini for all your hard work and we wish you all the very best in your new role at Chief Operating Officer at TNG Community Services

This is a terrifying reality, we need safe injection sites and supports. Syme Woolner continues to provide harm reduction kits, we do outreach and work with our partners, but we do not have a safe injection site in our community and nothing in the inner suburbs.
