Hi Thameslink. Out of interest why does this train trundle via Tulse Hill, Streatham etc (though not stopping at any of those) rather than just going via London Bridge, Norwood Junction etc, which is significantly faster?

Is Andrew Neil really using the syntactical abomination “scared for” or is there a sub at Mail Online whose head is about to roll? Surely “I am scared FOR my country.” However, “I am scared ABOUT what is to come.” A worse example still is people being “excited FOR” things. Yuck.
