What a great evening at the Suffolk Community Awards. KWMCC were awarded the Community Centre Category! So proud for the Team & Trustees involved. Held in Stowmarket it was in recognition of the contributions & achievements we have made. Thanks & well done to all other winners!

Lovely day with Project 21 & Culture Club on a guided tour of Endeavour House at Suffolk County Council. Thanks to Leader Matthew Hicks & Cabinet Member Beccy Hopfensperger for help in organising a fun and interactive day. A great time for all. Well done to everyone involved!

Great to be working in partnership with the Citizens Advice Bureau Kesgrave Community and Conference Centre (KWMCC) Thanks to Barbara & Rob who continue to give free, confidential advice to residents in Kesgrave & surrounding areas. Great to attend the East Suffolk Community Partnership Forum at Trinity Park this week with KWMCC Marketing Manager Molly Jarrett Excellent key-note speakers & a Market-Hall full of knowledgeable stall-holders. Friendly staff & interesting workshops. Well done to all involved!

So lucky at Kesgrave Community Centre to have our band of volunteers that work alongside us. We had a chance to celebrate 'National Volunteers Week' and thank them for their help, support and time given to us and so many others in the community. Well done to everyone involved!

Great to be at Rushmere St Andrew #30DaysWild event. As County Councillor some of my locality budget went towards a free, family fun-day in lovely surroundings. Thanks to the Volunteers who made it a success despite the odd British summer shower! Well done to everyone involved!

Great to meet with Project 21 as they got to work on new premises. They are a charity running activities & events for people with Down’s Syndrome. Paul helped show me how to sand a door & they are all working hard to get ready for the new season. Good luck to all involved!

Great to have funded the Community Hut at Rushmere St. Andrew. It will now be open to the whole community to connect, chat & support each other. A tour showed a wide variety of produce & a bumper crop of pumpkins just in time for Halloween! Thanks & well done to all involved

Last night I attended the CitizensAdvice AGM. As a County Councillor it was a privilege to present Barbara Rose the SCC Chairmans Award for her community work. Having worked for CAB for 21 yrs she fully deserves her recognition. Thank you from all of the community Barbara!

Great to be at the opening of 8 new Village Gateway Signs unveiled in my Cllr Ward of Rushmere St Andrew. At 104 yrs young, Edna cut the ribbon with residents watching on, as part of community initiatives to strengthen the identity of the Parish. Well done to all involved!
