Recently Stats NZ revised down NZ's estimated population by ~45k to reflect final 2023 Census results. That change affects a bunch of per-capita stats - including GDP. 🇳🇿 Real GDP per capita is now +5.4% since Q1 2017 - not +4.5%. Still abysmal, but a bit less grim than before.
