Lots of us are worried about movies being made by AI, but we should also be worried that too many movies are going to be ABOUT AI. It’s going to be everywhere (like the multiverse has been). And Mission Impossible 8 + Ice Cube War of the Worlds already exhaust the camp potential.

My 60 student Ancient Philosophy class is full a week in advance. I used to cap it at 45 and I’ve had as few as 25 enroll. All the “college should be about Plato and Aristotle!” sentiment does seem to be paying dividends for those of us in the Plato and Aristotle business….
