The SNP should be held to account - promises to the LGBTQ+ community have been broken. I've not heard from the FM but I'm devastated by the announcement we're not introducing a conversion practices ban this session. We must support the community, not look away from ongoing harm.

I’ve had the privilege of meeting & speaking to fellow supporters of assisted dying at the Scottish Parliament today; some really emotional stories of people who have suffered needlessly cruel deaths. Speaking as a student nurse & healthcare worker, I hope the bill passes today.

A landmark moment in Scotland, and a reflection of the tireless work of many campaigners over many years. I’m going to watch the assisted dying Bill closely on its journey through parliament. For now, I’m thinking of all those who died without the choice that they deserved ❤️
