i’ve worked over 1500 hours for free for the hse over the last three years. this year i worked 245 hours for free in the middle of a pandemic when student nurses were being “paid”. pay students on the frontline what they deserve for being active members of the workforce.

I’m not one to publicly express my emotions but I am close to tears over this tonight. They are voting against the people who will look after them, their friends and their family in the future and will expect nothing but the best care in return. Frustrated is an understatement.

Hi @tesco my friend was signed off work by his GP due to anxiety and on his first shift back he was taken into a formal meeting and given an official warning for absence. Can’t imagine that helped the anxiety much. Surely this can’t be right?
