Maybe the LCBO can attract more customers by taking on the back end of the deposit-return business the The Beer Store has quit on. Until recently, Ontario had a system that worked well. Now, people with empties have to travel much farther to get into often unpleasant lineups.

Metrolinx says lower-level platforms at the Ontario Line's Pape-Danforth interchange station will be more than 26 metres deep, roughly equivalent to eight storeys below. For comparison, tracks at the lower level of Bloor-Yonge station are 12.2m deep. #OntarioLine Ontario Line

Polls tells us that Ontarians are actually quite comfortable with incompetence and the distinct whiff of corruption. Also, did I mention that 10s of billions of dollars unaccounted for on the transportation projects?

It says more about opposition parties' urgent need for internal overhauls and housecleanings. Pointing out obvious scandal-worthy incompetence and corruption has done nothing to convince voters the Liberals or NDP are viable alternatives, yet neither party seems to get this yet.

There's a significant flaw in the bread price-fixing claim form: It asks if you submitted a claim for a previous $25 Loblaws gift-card program, but provides only Yes or No options (and a perjury charge threat). That program was years ago. A 'Not Sure' option is essential.

Soon it will be the most wonderful time of the year in Toronto, at least in my humble opinion. Yes, the city's outdoor ice rinks open on November 29th. Photo is from the last day of the outdoor season a couple of years back at Monarch Park.

On a walk today I noticed that still no action has been taken on the City signage with erroneous/outdated information regarding coffee cups and recycling. It's nearly 18 months since the rules changed and more than a year since I first alerted you. City of Toronto PFR City of Toronto πŸ‡¨πŸ‡¦

Yes. There was an accidental release and prompt retraction of the info today, probably so as not to scoop a nugget of good news to be delivered by the Premier. It was from a Capital Projects Report to be delivered to the Metrolinx board on Nov. 27. #metrolinx #finchwest #TTC
