An unwillingness to be criticised makes for a poor path in the future. ∀ true desire to change and be better comes with the acceptance of others' judgement of you. Whether you agree with said judgement or not is irrelevant. Just roll with it and use it all to grow.

If you think that people are better off without you, you have to prove yourself wrong. You have to be better as a whole. People are better as a whole. Cracks are not impossible to fix - you just can't rush the task. A worthwhile finish takes time and patience.

The beauty in Mike is that if you agree with something I say, you believe I'm being honest and based. If you disagree with something I say, you believe I'm trolling, and you'll say "thanks Mike". I physically can not lose. I've set myself up for infinite success.
