Dementia stole my mum a few years ago, but it also gave us some happy, funny and special times together. Our final goodbye was peaceful and dignified. I'll never be able to thank her nursing home staff enough. Night night Mum, see you soon. Give Dad a hug for me xxx

Happy new year to everyone and farewell to 2024. 2024 the year I returned to the NHS and the wonderful world of CNS'ing and also the year entered the lovely world of dementia care. I wonder what 2025 will bring? One or the other I hope, as the two aren't sustainable side by side
