The Laboratory of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology, NCI ccr.cancer.gov/laboratory-of-… is recruiting tenure-track investigators! Candidates working in the general area of Chromosome Biology should apply to the NIH wide Stadtman Investigator search by Sept. 30 irp.nih.gov/careers/trans-…

Nice work showing dimerization of CENP-B forms DNA loops. Wonder if the authors are aware of our work showing that dimerization of CENP-B bound to retrotransposon LTRs promote clustering, resulting in loop formation. Fig 5, 6 and model 6e in nature.com/articles/natur… Molecular Cell

I’m excited to be recruiting for the lab’s first #postdoc to help us at MSU Biochemistry & Molecular Biology investigate epigenetic state determination and rewiring. Please RT and have applications go through the posting below! Thanks! careers.msu.edu/cw/en-us/job/5…

Thank you Nitika Taneja!

Beautiful work, congratulations Shiv Grewal, Diego Folco, Hua Xiao, and team.

Replication Factors Preserving Epigenetic Marks Within Heterochromatin Domain Promote Epigenetic Inheritance. Nicely work. Huge Congratulations to Shiv Grewal, Patroula Nathanailidou and coauthors.

📢New Publication Alert📷 The PhpC/NF-Y, a pioneer like TF complex, accesses heterochromatin to drive the transcription of a cryptic intron-containing transcript to initiate silencing. A big thank you to Shiv Grewal and all the amazing coauthors for their invaluable contributions!
