Rewatching this workshop on Nonviolent Communication with Marshal Rosenberg after ~3 years: youtube.com/watch?v=4LuPCAโ€ฆ I watched the first time with a healthy skepticism that only wore away gradually. Now it just feels like there's enough in here to rewatch periodically.

Bruce Tate: grox.io Founder Routinely using: Daniel Pink's Drive (Autonomy/Mastery/Purpose) Team Topologies ' Cognitive Load interventions (remove the extraneous) Socio-technical skills (I like Spine Model as a starting point) Continuous learning environment (Claudio Perrone's PopcornFlow)

Yves Hanoulle agilealliance.social/@YvesHanoulle @JuttaEckstein Thatโ€™s my view as well - the rate of change of processes, practices and tools *should* be very high if youโ€™re really being highly adaptive you an evolving context.

@viktorcessan To give more detail - NVC, XP, NLP and Rhetoric all folder under Spine Model in my map. Itโ€™s a synthesis of these and other models and emerged when Danie Roux and I were working together a few years ago.

Faris Sponge Bob Test Pants We combine these to 'see our systems': - Model your systems in terms of things like #toc theory of constraints, Spine Model, Team Topologies, etc - Run learning boards e.g. Claudio Perrone's popcornflow - Retro everything, from incidents to work cycles

If you're in software engineering, and especially in any kind of leadership role, the Spine model (spinemodel.info) can be an incredibly valuable sense making/conversational/directional tool. H/T K Danie Roux

Any #spinemodel sits with a bounded context, which defines the applicability of the model and aids alignment by stating which part of the system is being modelled. Defining this boundary explicitly should be step zero of any modelling work, and can change as agreement changes.
