In case your on the fence about Gig City Elixir, you should go! It's easily one of my favorite conferences. Last year's had some of the best talks I've ever heard, and Bruce Tate: grox.io Founder and Maggie do an amazing job organizing.
I have been thinking about the features that make Elixir so extensible. The combination of pattern matching, protocols, and behaviours lets me customize libraries with nuance and flexibility. What are the features of your language that energize you?

Big announcement: Lars Walkman (Lars Wikman) will be speaking at GigCityElixir this year! Welcome, Lars.
This rarely happens but... I am still unsure what to talk about during my ElixirConf Europe keynote. I assume many want to hear about the type system but my recent @ElixirConf US keynote is still 100% up to date. Other suggestions?
