I haven't been so active re. game dev for a while, and not checked Twitter much either, as it just takes forever to get through everything. I wonder how everyone else manages this? However, today I've put in some time and read LOTS of tweets ... and realized I kinda miss it.

I am still working on something though, and I even have an idea for the next game to work on ... but it'll be a while before I go into specifics about any of them. Meanwhile, here's an ulrelated picture from an earlier project ... just because I like it :-)

I'm annoyed with #Facebook. Four friends just went on a trip and I KNEW that 3 of them were going to post pictures every 5 minutes - and of the same things. So I snoozed them. Now they're back home and I ended the snooze ... and I fucking got PAGES of their posts. #NotThePlan 🤬

I was just doing a bit of coding and I was nearing the limit of what I could store in the main memory, so I shifted about 5KB level data into a memory bank and thus freed up a bit of much needed space. Always a joy when that works 😃

Progress on my game is slow, but after a couple of weeks of inactivity, I finally finalized a function in it, and saved off the 50th backup (number 48 and 49 was made on the 25th and 26th). Now it's on to one of the few remaining big tasks 😅

I rarely post on Twitter these days, unlike when I was more active in game development, but I’m still into games & currently I’m in #Liverpool, sightseeing, drinking beers … and meeting up with friends. Adrian, Brian and here with Simon. We had a great day hanging out yesterday.

I don't post often - and code even more rarely, but tonight I had an idea for a new game (which is my main stumbling block). Anyway, a sequel to one of my games, but in reality a remake of an arcade game ... re-themed to suit me😉 Still, I have something else to finish first😅

If they screw the voices up just they did with Solar Opposites ... I'll *probably* still watch, but I'll be hate-watching it and hoping it'll get cancelled. Justin Roiland is too big a part of it to be replaced.
