One of my favourite events of the year. The beautiful commemoration at the Chattri Indian Memorial. Followed by the chance to talk about the Commonwealth War Graves For Evermore stories portal in conjunction with the brilliant #PunjabRegisters project. Tej Pal Singh Ralmill Gavin Rand

It was fantastic to work with Sarah Nathaniel from Commonwealth War Graves at the Chattri Memorial Service, Brighton. Sub-Maj Balwant Singh led the 23rd Sikh Pioneers to the coronation of King Edward VII in 1902. Why was he killed by his own Sepoy in WW1? To find out more, click below. Please

Happy birthday to my #wargravespals birthday twins Lynelle Howson 🇪🇺🏳️🌈 Dave Dykes. There must be something about 24th June!

If you are planning to attend the #ArmedForcesDay2025 at Chatham Dockyard this Saturday, 28th June, do pop along and say hello. I'll be there on behalf of Commonwealth War Graves with some of our lovely volunteers. Armed Forces Day 2025 - Chatham Historic Dockyard Trust

Beautiful day @cwgc Brighton City Cemetery engaging students from Shoreham College with their local First World War history. Planting looked gorgeous and so much nature in the site too.

Why we do what we do Commonwealth War Graves Beautiful comment from the niece of William Puttick who had seen the work the children of Worthing had produced on her uncle and his shipmates who lost their lives on the HMS Hood in 1941.

Great weekend at Military Odyssey in Kent. We chatted all things Commonwealth War Graves, reunited some people with their relatives, gave three well received talks and made some furry friends!
