And amazing The Star-Ledger editorial tells NJ leaders to look in the mirror: “As for the lack of mass transit options, that’s not New York’s fault, it’s Trenton’s fault” Governor Phil Murphy nj.com/opinion/2023/0…

Fare increases and service cuts for NJ Transit would drive riders away in droves, Zoe B. told NorthJersey.com. "When you disinvest in those systems, it makes the service useless, so people abandon it." northjersey.com/story/news/tra…

Definitely not a fan of muddying the congestion pricing waters with discounts for electric cars. There's already plenty of public policy bending over backward to speed adoption of⚡️🚘 despite the tech. Let's stay focused on reducing car trips, rebuilding transit ridership

Congestion pricing is more than just a traffic reduction program. It’s everyone’s #RouteForward to more accessible transportation, safer streets for a city on the move, and cleaner air from less traffic pollution.

Congestion pricing isn't just going to reduce gridlock and ensure our children can breathe cleaner air. It's going to help us invest in century-old public transit system so it's ready to serve New Yorkers for the next century to come.

As a union household, this one hurts! We need congestion pricing so teachers and students can get to school on time. So disappointing UFT

NYC could lose much needed transit improvements if #congestionpricing isn't implemented in a timely manner. RPA and Congestion Pricing Now released maps of at-risk projects across the boroughs. See maps for all boroughs: congestionpricingnow.org/projectmaps

Congestion pricing's delay is officially stopping important work on capital projects - per the MTA Capital Committee presentation today. We've been raising this alarm for 2+ years - the COVId-19 delays + CP delays are severely damaging to the MTA's ability to fix the system.

The MTA just approved congestion pricing for NYC! It will improve transit, reduce traffic, clean the air and make streets safer. I have been working on this for the past 20 years with some amazing colleagues — this feels like a real milestone!

Good news: public transit funding is on the rise in NY state, in part because of future #CongestionPricing revenue and the 2021 IIJA, Regional Plan analysis found. Read the full findings: rpa.org/work/reports/h…
