Warning: there is a scam on Facebook and something called Medical Blog describing a product called ‘Bloodguard’ with my name attached. This has nothing to do with me and is a scam- Meta have been informed. Vulnerable people are falling for it. Please retweet.

We’re lucky in Ireland that cancer patients (mostly) get the care they need not what they can afford. But sometimes actuaries speak up & patients lose out. CancerMeHole (Niamh) 🇮🇪 is trying to buy time with targeted treatment on her secondary tumours, but needs to go abroad to get this. 1/2

Today Randles Hotel lost its first booking of 6 people cancelled due to @aerlingus strike. 10 day golfing tour of Ireland gone to Scotland instead - I calculate that was worth €30,000 to Ireland

Beautiful moon last night (rubbish photo). We survived Child A’s 17th birthday celebration - first time to have his gang to the house. Lovely kids, so polite 🥰 but mother of God me nerves. 🙈

This is why I rarely take public transport. It irritates me a lot (my boys think too much) but I have resorted to asking ppl to put in ear phones.

Started at 42,800 in queue & I was delighted to get to the top of the queue for #Oasis25 tickets....These were the only ones available for purchase - In Demand Standing tickets - €415.50 each - with the booking fee that's €874.60 for the two.....I didn't proceed

When did we become so gullible? This ticket was IR£27.50 in 1992, including booking fee. Per Hargaden's Irish Inflation Calculator, that's €66.79 adjusted for inflation and the euro, and that was a good seat. #Oasis25
