Within 2 days of being trained. Two of my colleagues used the skills learn to identify a driver with drugs in their system. Not only was he speeding he could have also put other vulnerable people at risk by being under the influence. Good Work Team 💪

This week have been very intensive. Complete different ballgame compared to my day job for working for the Ambulance Service. Really good instruction from The ATACC Group and looking forward to our final day of training tomorrow in an effort to becoming a qualified Police Medics

As it’s National Volunteers Week, let’s take a moment to thank all those who go above & beyond by giving up their time not only as volunteer police officers, but also as leaders of volunteer officers. A huge thanks to our volunteer Inspectors & Command Team in this picture! 👏🏼

We train our volunteer officers as basic police drivers, enabling them to use police vehicles when required. This also includes the ability to stop vehicles for things like motoring offences, among other tasks. ⬇️🧵
