#OneHand: To gain information about how the upper limb works, our colleagues Eric and Inge spoke to Marcel. Marcel is a #physiotherapist and explained everything about the upper limb: from shoulder to hand and which muscles and bones are responsible for which movements.

Last week, we have started with testing the Rokoko motion capture suit. A mocap suit can record all real-life movements of people wearing the suit and send this to a computer program where it will be applied to an avatar in VR. In this video, you can see how the mocap suit works.

We have started with the 3rd VR-training about #lowliteracy! In this case, there is a young man who received a letter from a benefits agency, that he doesn't understand. Struggling with reading comprehension could also be an indication of low literacy.

Another project we’ve been working on is a VR-training on #motivationalinterviewing. This is a collaborative, client-centered interviewing style that strengthens a person's own motivation and willingness to change. Interested in this project’s progress? Make sure you follow us!

#OneHand: Last Friday we tested the first version of our virtual prosthesis VR game with some real-life prosthetic users. It was an amazing test day: the users were very enthusiastic and they were positively surprised! Below a short video impression of the test session.
