What a great first day back! It was so lovely to see the children walking into school this morning. They all looked very smart with big smiles on their faces. We can’t wait to see you all again tomorrow!

What a busy first week back! Year 6 had their tie ceremony and went on the first school trip of the year to JORVIK Viking Centre, everyone has settled into their new classes and reception have made a brilliant start to their school journey. Have a lovely weekend everyone!

KS1 have had their topic launch this morning of ‘we’re all in this together’. They had a carousel of activities: an obstacle course, building dens, made a poster and learned a dance to high school musical’s song “we’re all in this together” then performed it on the playground.

Year 6 had some special visitors this morning! 🚓🚨

Year 3 have had lots of fun this afternoon using sticks to make skeletons! 🩻

Lots of fun at cross country today! 🏃‍♀️🏃 our team showed lots of determination and perseverance!

Our Reception Jellyfish and Starfish have enjoyed exploring our forest school areas this afternoon. 🍁

We are really enjoying our forest school this year! Zebras have been creating some of our values some pieces of art linked to nature 🌳

This afternoon In Gazelles , we have been practising with mixed media to create a design for an Ancient Greek vase. We will use our favourite medium from this week to create a final vase in the coming weeks. Some fantastic and detailed patterns and pictures on show today.

Year 6 are having an amazing time at Bewerley Park! Group 1 enjoyed a river walk yesterday

Eagles have great fun in science yesterday! We took a walk around school to identify different materials🥼🔍🤍

This week Antelopes have made Ancient Greek vases. Super work Antelopes!

Years 5&6 have had an amazing party at Elland Road with Yorkshire Children's Charity 🎄

Kiwis had an amazing PSHE session exploring our wonderful differences. We took part in a game to celebrate and share our key differences We then talked to our friends about how we are different by discussing our favourite foods, drinks, colours.

Year 6 have been making reindeers in forest school this week! 🦌
