We have (finally!) nearly finished the #BiltonRetreats and taking bookings from the beginning of June 👍. If anyone fancies a trip to Northumberland we are less than 1 miles from Alnmouth 🚄station on the East Coast Mainline #Northumberland #Alnmouth

It is with profound sadness that we announce the death of our beloved CEO Caroline Drummond MBE, who passed away yesterday. Caroline transformed LEAF from small beginnings 30 years ago to where we are today. There are no words to express how much she will be missed.

All of them, all of them, Defra UK, Ofwat, Environment Agency and Southern Water should hang their heads in shame and by God do they have a lot to answer for. Every beach in East Sussex between Brighton and Hastings has now been issued with a sewage alert. sussexlive.co.uk/news/sussex-ne…

Well, well. Here's a copy of Thames Water 💧's licence to operate as a water company issued by Ofwat. It's signed by Cathryn Ross as Chief Executive of Ofwat. Would that be the Cathryn Ross that is now Director of Strategy and External Affairs at Thames Water? Of course it would

What’s wrong with British Piper M&S ??? Potato farmers are struggling for movement, you are behind on contracts, and you are importing product from the other side of the world. Thank you!!!

🧵RISING INTEREST RATES ARE A BIGGER DEAL THAN YOU MIGHT THINK🧵 This is important (hence the caps). I’m a bit worried people are being WAY too complacent about rising interest rates. They assume that because they’re so low now vs the 1990s, this’ll be a walk in the park. NO.

No #eggs in supermarket isn’t because of bird flu but because the supermarket refused to pay the cost of producing the eggs so farmer refused to restock their shed. Supermarket where warned months ago but they decided not to listen now they have egg on their face. #noeggs

Farmers are losing 29p per dozen eggs because supermarkets aren’t paying them a fair price - that’s why there’s an egg shortage.

Methane stays in the atmosphere for 12 years. Carbon dioxide stays in the atmosphere for 300 - 1,000 years Methane has 25x the warming potential of carbon dioxide 25 x 12 = 300 years equivalent So if vegetation rots down or is eaten by a ruminant, is there any difference?
