As I walked back from the #UISedu Student Union, Abe called me over to join him in enjoying the twilight and saying goodbye to the day.

Fall has been slow to arrive at University of Illinois Springfield this year, but with the winds sweeping through over the past few days and the cooler temperatures, it feels like autumn is finally making its presence known. Here’s a little round-up of fall on campus so far!

Today's walk revealed a yellow dominated landscape, with some trees desperately holding onto their leaves while others had already shed theirs for winter.

While at an event in the University of Illinois Springfield Student Union tonight, I noticed the light in the sky change color. I ran outside just in time to catch the season’s first wintry sunset.

Chicago is all decked out for the holidays. The Illini Center and Union Station are especially beautiful this year.

I went for a walk at dusk in Washington Park. The Carillon was rather moody this evening!

Snowstorm magic! I know not everyone like the snow, but I love it! I captured some scenes from the scenic University of Illinois Springfield campus. Everything looks like a winter wonderland—absolutely stunning!

Look who was having some fun in the snow and keeping an eye on my car! There were about six of them waiting to greet me as I left University of Illinois Springfield tonight.

Lincoln and I are up bright and early today to welcome guests to campus for the Illinois House of Representatives inauguration ceremony!
